At\u00e9 o ano de 2019, ocorria presencialmente em pra\u00e7as p\u00fablicas da cidade. A partir de 2020, devido \u00e0 pandemia, o formato e p\u00fablico-alvo mudaram. A Comiss\u00e3o Organizadora e os participantes s\u00e3o formados por alunos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o do Departamento de Ci\u00eancias Biol\u00f3gicas. Os participantes subdividem-se em grupos de trabalho (GTs) com um tema central e produzem pain\u00e9is, jogos, promovem atividades interativas, etc. Estandes s\u00e3o montados e exp\u00f5em os materiais produzidos, microsc\u00f3pios, exemplares biol\u00f3gicos, entre outros\u00a0 que auxiliam a cativar transeuntes e explanar sobre os assuntos. A partir de 2020, os GTs passaram a produzir materiais digitais que s\u00e3o divulgados no perfil do Instagram @bionaruarp.
