The Centro de Preservação Cultural (CPC) da USP — Casa de Dona Yayá is accepting applications until February 20 for the free, in-person Photography Workshop that will be held from March 6 to April 1.
There will be four lectures, each lasting two hours, held at the CPC, and two Saturday meetings, each lasting three hours, at the Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo.
The content will cover discussions on the many images within the image, the control of images and their political use, images of power and the history they tell us, and practical photography workshops with a pinhole camera and digital cameras or cell phones.
There are 30 vacancies, which will be selected by lottery. The program will last a total of 14 hours. A minimum attendance of 75% is required, as well as participation in activities, which will be led by Luisa Carvalho Zucchi and Diogenes dos Santos Miranda.
