Seminário de Cultura e Extensão
The Seminário de Cultura e Extensão highlights not just a theme, but the relationship between teaching and research, on one side, and society, on the other. Thus, the debates explore the correlation of extension/research/teaching. It is an important event that relates to the approach on the interaction between the University of São Paulo and society, in its broadest sense.
Its goal is focused on potential changes that may occur in USP and in society at a time of interactive relationships, which finds in the university extension one of its main directions.
In that sense, the seminar intends to establish itself as another opportunity for discussing concepts, exhibiting examples of actions set out at the University that involve culture and university extension, as well as seeking new paths.
The Seminário de Cultura e Extensão is open to professors, employees and students from USP and other public and private education institutions, as well as to the general public. To increase the public participation and spread the debate, the event is held via videoconference and broadcast through the world wide web.
