BRING YOUR TIMBRE TO MADRIGAL REVIVIS
The Madrigal Revivis has been part of the Coral USP from Ribeirão Preto since 1989, completed 53 years of uninterrupted existence in 2022, and is considered a high artistic reference of choral music. It has a repertoire that travels through various periods of history, ranging from the Renaissance to the contemporary and from classical to popular music.
Winner of several awards, in addition to performing important concerts and partnerships with groups in the region and capital. The group also stands out for its participation in international festivals, such as the most recent in Uruguay, Corearte 2018 Río de la Plata. It is linked to the USP Campus Prefecture and has the support of the Pro-Rectories of Graduation and Culture and University Extension.
Directed by Maestro Sergio Alberto de Oliveira and with the help of a team of student monitors from USP Ribeirão Preto, Madrigal Revivis proposes to realize audacious musical approaches, either with current classical compositions or with the classical repertoire. Rigorous technical-musical studies lead to unique interpretations of high musical quality.
