On Monday, April 1st, at 5:30 pm, the Centro MariAntonia will host a screening of the film “Sunday in the Coup” (2024, 20′), by Giselle Beiguelman, a professor at the School of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU) of USP, and Lucas Bambozzi, followed by a discussion with the filmmakers, with free admission.
The documentary is entirely produced with images from the security cameras of the Palácio do Planalto and focuses on January 8, 2023, the day when the National Congress, the Palácio do Planalto, and the Supreme Federal Court (STF) were vandalized.
On April 1st, we commemorate the 60th anniversary of the coup d’état, which led to the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship, which lasted 21 years, from 1964 to 1985.
Come and watch and talk to the directors. Free admission!
