On August 9, at 5pm, Centro MariAntonia is launching the e-book Vizinhança: a palavra como território de coexistência, by Marcelo Carnevale.
The author and his guests – Bel Santos Mayer (LiteraSampa Network), Lucia Barbosa de Oliveira, and Sérgio Bairon, both from the Escola de Comunicação e Artes (ECA), as well as friends from Núcleo de Estudos das Diversidades, Intolerâncias e Conflitos (Diversitas) of USP – will hold a reading circle to celebrate the publication of the e-book, the fruit of Carnevale’s doctoral thesis. The book offers the chance to reflect on how “understanding oneself inevitably passes through the other”.
According to Carnevale, the highlighted phrase in the title is a glimpse of the feeling that amalgamated the experience of an important period in which Diversitas was present with postgraduate courses in the theaters of the Luz region, specifically between 2017 and 2019.
