The USP Choir (Coralusp) is organizing a presentation next Friday, March 8th, in celebration of International Women’s Day at the Centro Cultural Camargo Guarnieri, in the University City.
Vice-director Beth Amin explains that the program “The Four Elements and the Feminine” “was conceived and carried out by female hands: conductors, vocal technique instructors, Coralusp singers, instrumentalists, and the entire production team.” The show relates the four elements of nature to femininity, with the intention of “vibrating for a better world. Because we really believe that a good future for this world can only happen in female hands.”
Director and conductor Marcia Hentschel reinforces the invitation for such a “beautiful and colorful” presentation, with music only by female singers, women in the band, and everything produced by women.
