In order to promote the USP Diversity Program among the freshmen who are joining USP in 2020, the program team conducted an action on March 6th, also taking advantage of the International Women’s Day motto. Throughout the day, informative materials were distributed in front of the Central Restaurant, one of the most densely crowded venues on the capital’s campus. The leaflets contain information about diversity at USP, tips and guidelines on what to do in case of disrespect. In addition to delivering the material, the team approached students about these issues amounting 480 cases.
USP Diversity promotes a set of actions that aim to promote inclusion, respect for differences, the construction of good coexistence and the full exercise of citizenship. Thus, its initiatives include access to information on reporting channels and the dialogue between the Usp community and the agents responsible for ensuring respect for Human Rights in the coexistence of gender and ethnic differences at the University of São Paulo.
