The event is part of the activities of the Freshmen Welcome Week and aims to welcome incoming students, seeking to develop a sense of belonging to the Institution.
It’s an opportunity to establish relationships within the community and welcome new students as a form of reception, to create familiarity and recognition with the new space, to reframe this new environment, right at the beginning of their activities on campus.
As part of the event’s program, there will be a historical tour of the main points of the campus, cultural presentations, gastronomy with food trucks, and activities at the “Luiz de Queiroz” Museum, which will be open to the public.
The musical performances aim to encourage and value art and culture, through inclusion, equality, diversity, as well as to awaken the spirit of fraternity. These are unique moments of academic experience, marked by joy, empathy, integration, and socializing with parents, veteran students, faculty, and campus staff.
It is a playful way to promote moments of exchange, communication, and knowledge that align with the guidelines on the social role of the University.
