Courses and Activities

The Pró-Reitoria de Cultura e Extensão Universitária is responsible for offering and managing the university extension courses and activities in its various forms, following specific rules. These courses and activities are classified as follows:

Continuing Education and Graduate Schools

Courses that entail practice or training for graduates. From a professional point of view, it is the set of skills required so that the professional can keep up with the changes in his or her area of expertise.

Professional Training and Residency Programs

Activities that aim to train, develop, or improve skills inherent to a profession, as opposed to “Continuing Education” activities due to the predominantly practical approach developed in their training projects by means of on-the-job training.

Diffusion Courses with no minimum education requirement

The Diffusion Course, which has a minimum workload of 4 hours, is an activity of artistic, cultural, scientific, technical, technological, or sports diffusion and is aimed at the general public, with no minimum education requirement.
